CALDOORS LTD respects your privacy and is committed to handling personal and payment-related information fairly, securely and responsibly. This Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, how long we retain it, and the choices available to you.

02Information We May Collect

Contact information: name, email address, telephone or WhatsApp number, company or organisation, project, billing or delivery address. Enquiry and project information: products of interest, project type, measurements and specifications, messages and correspondence, drawings, schedules, photographs and uploaded reference files. Order information: products and quantities ordered, approved specifications, quotation, invoice and order numbers, delivery or installation information, warranty, return or complaint records. Payment-related information: when you make an online payment, CALDOORS or its payment provider may process cardholder or account-holder name, billing address, payment amount and currency, payment method, card brand and last four digits where supplied by the provider, transaction reference, authorisation and status, refund and chargeback information, and information used to detect fraud or unauthorised activity. Complete card numbers and card security codes are intended to be collected directly by the payment provider identified at checkout. CALDOORS does not intend to store this information on its own website systems. Technical information: Internet Protocol address, browser and device information, pages visited and approximate visit times, referral information, payment-session and fraud-screening information, website error and security logs. Browser storage: the website may store information on your device to remember language selection, products added to a quotation list or shopping cart, checkout progress, an unfinished form draft, and administrative content for authorised administrators.

03How We Collect Information

Information may be collected through contact, quotation and checkout forms; when you create or pay for an order; through payment confirmation received from our payment provider; through email, telephone, WhatsApp or in-person communication; when you submit drawings or project documents; and automatically through website, security and payment-session technologies.

04How We Use Information

We may use personal information to respond to enquiries and prepare quotations; process and confirm online orders; process deposits, invoice payments, refunds and balances; verify payment and prevent fraud; manufacture, supply, deliver or install products; communicate about an order; provide customer service; address returns, complaints and chargebacks; maintain accounting, tax, warranty and transaction records; protect the website and payment process; improve our products and services; send permitted marketing communications; and comply with legal and regulatory obligations. CALDOORS does not sell personal information.

05Basis for Processing

Depending on the circumstances, we process personal information because it is necessary to respond to a request or perform a contract, you have given consent, it is required by law, it is necessary to protect vital interests, or it supports a legitimate business purpose that does not improperly override your rights.

06Payment Providers

Online payments are processed through the payment provider identified at checkout. The payment provider may process information to authorise and settle payments, verify identity or payment credentials, detect fraud and security threats, process refunds and disputes, and meet financial and regulatory obligations. The payment provider's own privacy policy also applies to information submitted through its service. Customers should review that policy before making payment.

07Payment Security

CALDOORS uses reasonable safeguards designed to protect payment-related information. Payment pages may be hosted by or transmitted directly to the payment provider. CALDOORS personnel should never request complete card numbers or security codes through email, WhatsApp or the contact form. No internet or payment system can be guaranteed completely secure.

08Sharing Information

We may share relevant information with CALDOORS employees and authorised representatives; payment processors, banks and financial institutions; fraud-prevention and identity-verification providers; website hosting, email and contact-form providers; delivery or installation providers; accountants, insurers and professional advisers; government authorities or regulators where legally required; and a successor organisation following a business sale or restructuring. Recipients are expected to use personal information only for authorised purposes and protect it appropriately.

09International Processing

A payment, hosting or technology provider may process information outside Jamaica. Where information is transferred internationally, CALDOORS will take reasonable steps to use providers and safeguards consistent with applicable data-protection requirements.

10Retention

CALDOORS generally retains unsuccessful enquiries and quotation requests for up to 24 months after the last meaningful communication; order, invoice, payment, refund and transaction records for up to seven years after the transaction or longer where required by law; fraud, dispute and chargeback records for the period needed to resolve the matter and meet legal obligations; warranty and complaint records for the applicable warranty or complaint period and a reasonable period afterward; website and payment security logs normally for up to 12 months unless required for an investigation; and marketing information until you unsubscribe or it is no longer required. The payment provider may apply separate retention periods.

11Marketing

CALDOORS may send marketing communications where requested or otherwise legally permitted. You may unsubscribe at any time. Order confirmations, payment receipts, delivery notices and other service communications are not marketing.

12Security Incidents

CALDOORS will investigate suspected security incidents and take appropriate corrective action. Where required by Jamaican law, CALDOORS will notify the Office of the Information Commissioner and affected individuals within applicable time limits. Payment information may also be subject to the payment provider's incident-response procedures.

13Your Rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request confirmation that your information is being processed; access to your personal information; correction of inaccurate information; information about processing purposes and recipients; withdrawal of consent where applicable; cessation of processing likely to cause unwarranted damage or distress; and removal from direct marketing. You may also complain to the Office of the Information Commissioner of Jamaica. CALDOORS may retain transaction information where required for legal, accounting, fraud-prevention or dispute-resolution purposes, even after another deletion request is made.

14Children

The website and payment services are intended for adults capable of entering into a contract. CALDOORS does not knowingly accept online orders or payments directly from children without appropriate adult authorisation.

15Third-Party Links

The website may link to payment, WhatsApp, email or other external services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.

16Cookies and Payment Technology

The website and payment provider may use cookies, local storage and similar technology to maintain carts, complete checkout, prevent fraud and secure payment sessions. Further information appears in the CALDOORS Cookie Policy.

17Changes to This Policy

CALDOORS may update this Policy when its payment providers, technology, services or legal obligations change.
